Privacy Policy — Demar VPN

Effective date: the date this Privacy Policy is published at demar.cc/pp.

This Privacy Policy explains how Demar VPN (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website, apps, and VPN service (the “Service”).

The Service is operated by an individual under the brand Demar VPN. For privacy requests and questions, contact demarcorporated@gmail.com.

Our Terms of Service are available at demar.cc/tos.

We design this Policy to meet European Union privacy requirements, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for Demar VPN is the individual operator of the Service. You can reach us at:

Email: demarcorporated@gmail.com
Website: demar.cc

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

Category Examples
Account Email address, password (stored in hashed/secure form), account identifiers
Billing Subscription status, payment dates, plan type, and payment metadata needed to fulfill a purchase
Device & app Device identifiers, app version, OS information, crash logs
Push Push notification tokens (where you enable notifications)
Analytics App/usage analytics events from the tools we use to understand product performance
Support Messages you send to support, including deletion or refund requests

Anonymous payment options. Where we offer cryptocurrency or gift/redemption codes, we may process less identifying payment information than card checkout — but we may still link a successful purchase to your account so we can apply the correct plan.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. VPN logging — FREE vs paid (important)

How we handle VPN-related logs depends on your plan.

FREE plan

On the FREE plan, we keep internal logs for operating and securing the Service (for example connection-related or usage data needed for internal operations, limits, and abuse prevention). These logs are for our internal use in providing FREE access.

Paid plans

On paid plans, we do not keep logs that can deanonymize you. In particular, we do not retain browsing history, destination content, or other traffic records that would identify what you do online through the VPN in a way that can be tied back to you as a lasting user profile.

Temporary server-side data. VPN infrastructure may briefly hold connection-related technical data for anti-abuse and stability. That data is not kept as a long-term activity log of your browsing and is discarded when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

We do not currently have an independent third-party no-logs audit.

4. Why we use your data (purposes and legal bases)

Purpose Legal basis (GDPR)
Create and manage your account; provide VPN, AdBlock, and split tunneling Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Process subscriptions, renewals, refunds, and plan changes (including downgrade to FREE) Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Secure the Service, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — security and integrity of the Service
FREE-plan operational logging Legitimate interests / contract — operate FREE access and limits
Customer support Contract / legitimate interests
Analytics and product improvement Legitimate interests, or consent where required by law for non-essential analytics
Push notifications Consent or contract, depending on how notifications are offered in your region/app
Legal compliance and responding to valid requests Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) where applicable

You can withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Payments

Paid subscriptions are purchased through our website. Payment is handled by payment providers we use to process transactions. Those providers process payment data under their own terms and as our processors where GDPR applies.

If your paid period ends and you do not renew, your account moves to the FREE plan as described in the Terms of Service at demar.cc/tos.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data for marketing lists.

We use service providers (“processors”) only as needed to run Demar VPN, for example:

  • VPN / server hosting and network infrastructure;
  • website payment processors;
  • push notification providers;
  • analytics and crash-reporting tools;
  • email/support tooling we use to reply to you.

These providers process data on our instructions and for the purposes above. Server locations for VPN nodes are available worldwide and may change.

7. International transfers

Because servers and providers may be located in different countries, your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including outside the EEA. Where GDPR requires it, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism.

8. How long we keep data

  • Account data — while your account is active, and as needed to provide the Service.
  • Billing records — as long as needed for subscriptions, refunds, accounting, and legal requirements.
  • FREE operational logs — only as long as needed for operations, limits, and abuse prevention.
  • Paid VPN traffic logs that could deanonymize you — not retained as described in Section 3; temporary anti-abuse data is short-lived.
  • Analytics / crash / push tokens — according to the retention settings of those tools and our operational needs.

Account deletion

To delete your account and related personal data, email demarcorporated@gmail.com. We aim to complete deletion within one month of a verified request, except where we must keep limited data for legal, security, or dispute reasons (for example unfinished refunds or fraud investigations).

9. Your rights (GDPR)

If EU/EEA (or similar) rules apply to you, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • rectify inaccurate data;
  • erase data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • restrict processing;
  • data portability;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your EU/EEA member state.

To exercise these rights, contact demarcorporated@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity (for example via your account email).

10. Law enforcement and legal requests

Valid legal requests can be sent to demarcorporated@gmail.com.

What we can provide depends on what we actually store. On paid plans, because we do not keep deanonymizing VPN activity logs, we typically cannot produce browsing history or similar traffic content that we do not retain. Account and billing information we do store may still be subject to lawful process.

Warrant Canary

As of the publication of this Privacy Policy, Demar VPN has not received any secret government requests, gag orders, National Security Letters, or similar compulsory process requiring us to hand over user data or to modify the Service in a way we cannot disclose. We have not provided user data to any government or law-enforcement authority under such process.

If this canary is removed, altered, or not updated when this Policy is revised, that may indicate the statement above is no longer accurate.

Transparency Report

We also maintain a Transparency Report related to Demar VPN. The current report is published or linked on demar.cc.

11. Children

The Service is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong unique password and keep your credentials private.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is posted at demar.cc/pp. The effective date is the publication date of that version.

Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy. If you disagree, stop using the Service and request account deletion.
